Journey to the South: February 12-20, 2020
In partnership with IDEA Public charter school, students took learning beyond the classroom and saw history brought to life. Over a 10-day journey to key cities in the Civil Rights Movement, students gained skills and insights about themselves and their family history; in doing so, they gained a deeper connection to their roots and a greater understanding of the impact they can have in their communities.
